Extremely Nice Vintage Star WarsDeath Star Play SetMeccanoDeath StarComplete. INCLUDES SLIDING ACRYLIC DISPLAY CASE. Ultra Rare Meccano Death Star Box & Play set. I have owned the Australian Tolstoy's, UK Palitoy, and Kenner Canadian Death Star.

But the French Meccano Death Star is the hardest to come by. Box: Has Some shelf ware and is missing 3 flaps. I restored a partial area of one partial long side edge of box.

This set is over 43 years old and shows shelf ware in some areas. A GW Acrylic sliding back display case is included.

Death Star: The cardboard Pieces are in very nice condition with some edge ware as shown. Not bad for being over 43 years old. The Trash Door is no longer attached at the top but remains firmly in position and easily opened. The Base has some shelf ware and staining on one side and is starting to separate partially at the fold, but remains intact.

All of the 10 Vintage Plastic Base Clips are present and hold the structure firmly to the base. The Trash Compactor cardboard piece has a reconstructed small tab to allow it to work. (I have owned many vintage sets so my noted reconstruction areas were expertly copied repairs from originals) The Vintage Trash Cute is in Excellent condition.

The original vintage Yellowing Gunners Dome is undamaged. The vintage guns are very nice. The Gunners Chair is also in wonderful condition stress free and makes this set complete. I only could display 12 photos, which does not do this Holy Grail piece justice. Recreate the Death Star Scenes with yourStar Wars action figures.

Have Obi Wan disable Tractor Beam in Reflector Tower. Look Down the 3 Dimensional Tower the reflectors are shiny and make it look endless.

Slide Chewy down the Trash Cute into the working sliding Trash Compactor. Let Luke swing into action to rescue Princess Leia. I also included a photo copy of Meccano Death Star Instruction Sheet for ease of assembly. Don't miss out on this ultra rare piece of French Star Wars memorabilia. Please keep in mind that this set is not perfect as the cardboard and partially restored box are over 42 years old, and in played with condition.
